Week of October 28, 2013

2013/10/31 18:23:57

Week of 10/28/13 – The Norwood project continues to move forward on a number of fronts while we await all-important answers on toxic abatement. We should get at least some of those answers at a meeting w/ the City on Tuesday, so look for more news on that next week. We recently oversaw what we hope will be the last fix to temporary coverings on the roof – and just in time for the historic October rains! Any future roof doings should be of the permanent structural type, in preparation for reinstalling Norwood’s once-beautiful red tile roof. Our team is also working on an updated structural assessment of the house that will lead to architectural drawings we can present to the Historic Preservation Office & the Landmarks Commission. Plans for a reimagined & repurposed interior will also spring from this assessment. This is the fun stuff!
