Week of July 8, 2013

2013/7/8 19:50:00

Week of 7/8/13 – Folks, whether you’re a new visitor or have been a fan of the Norwood project for years, we have great news to share: on Thursday, 6/20/13, in his last official act as President of the Norwood Park Foundation, Wolf Sittler signed the City’s “Parkland Improvement, Management & Operations Agreement” (PIMOA) to restore & operate the Norwood House. Whoo hoo! The signing took place at City Hall. The PIMOA has already been signed by Legal and PARD, so after the City Manager signs (expected imminently), the long-sought plan will be official. After almost 30 years of wishing & hoping, a fully realized path to a new life for Norcliff is finally in place. Thanks to our Council sponsors Riley & Morrison, and all the friends of Norwood who’ve gotten us to this seminal milestone. Watch for more news as we get underway with site planning & other initiatives.
