Week of July 2, 2014

2014/7/5 13:03:48

Week of 7/2/14 – Happy 4th of July to all! Including “independence” from further deterioration for the Norwood House. We’re on the verge of some important announcements, but until then, we’ll repeat a bit of the previous post for those of you who haven’t visited in awhile:

The Norwood House has a new “do” – and it’s kinda funky! The historic charm of this bungalow is definitely hiding right now, beneath plywood planks with funny window cut-outs, patches of stark white remediation paint, and black vinyl roof covers with leftover trim pieces battening them down. All part of the experience…not unlike growing out a bad haircut. Gotta go through some ugly on the way to beautiful. At least Norcliff is buttoned up pretty well while we begin working on the foundation. Speaking of, did you know the house isn’t exactly where it’s supposed to be? Surprise – we didn’t either! Now we get to figure out how and where to put it back.
