Week of January 20, 2014

2014/1/18 18:59:50

Week of 01/20/14 – Congrats to NPF! On Sunday 1/13, we made a little history: we held our first “construction work day” at the Norwood House. This was only a humble expansion of the construction fence, but we did it ourselves, and we did it as a team. Many thanks to Wolf Sittler for organizing the day, Alan at Metalink Corp. for donating the fencing & parts we needed, all the awesome volunteers who showed up to help, and Guero’s for providing a yummy spread at the end. This was a fun day for all of us, and it sure felt good to actually make a change at Norwood instead of just talking about it. Another positive: lots of passersby wandered up to the house to check out information on the project, and many pledged their support. All in all, quite a nice way to start the new year. Thank you, friends of the Norwood project!

Happy to report that toxic abatement is moving forward and so is NPF on a number of fronts. We are energized and excited about what’s to come. Stay tuned.
