Week of August 11, 2014

2014/8/15 10:01:11

Week of 8/11/14 – Summer is wrapping up and we are moving forward with Norwood tasks. It’s worth mentioning again that our professional team for the long haul is now assembled: Urban Design Group (Civil Engineers), Mell Lawrence Architects, Ten Eyck Landscape Architects, Leap!Structures (Structural Engineers), and James Nolan Construction (Contractor). Latest news on this front is that we’ve settled on the general floor plan for the bungalow, which has been a surprisingly difficult challenge over the last couple of years. It’s a small house but there’s a lot to consider and achieve. It’s going to be wonderful.

Committing to the floor plan also allows us to move forward with next steps on the foundation. Our engineers & contractor are eager to get going with that. Expect to see our fragile Norcliff get moved aside for drilling of new piers in the not-too-distant-future.
