Week of April 7, 2014

2014/4/11 12:36:58

Week of 4/7/14 – Wonderful news to share! At long last, we got the official green light from the city on our environmental remediation plan. We’re finalizing the selection of contractor for that work right away, and anticipate a start date around April 24th. Wow! It’s been a tough 6-month wait for this element that must be accomplished before anything else can happen, so this is huge for the project.

We’re also delighted to announce that a former mayor of Austin, Frank Cooksey, has joined our Advisory Council and offered his full support on the project. Frank will bring us a wealth of knowledge and connections to help us get the job done. Welcome, Mr. Mayor, and thank you! We hope to have many such announcements of assistance in the coming months. With hands-on work beginning soon at the Norwood site, a new day is dawning for the bungalow and the entire Norwood tract. Stay tuned.
